Kip and I along with Craig Watkins from H & S Yacht Sales left Channel Islands harbor around 06:30 on July 21 heading to Two Harbors on Catalina Island for the Jeanneau Rendezvous. The day was warm and sunny, I even got to sunbathe on the bow of the boat which does not happen too often out on the ocean. We caught up to our friend Rick Christensen and his family on his 50 ft Catamaran Moorea Crew. We had a wonderful trip, we saw some dolphins and arrived at Two Harbors in plenty of time to enjoy the evening.

The next day July 22nd we got together with two other Jeanneau owners, one a Sun Odyssey 49 and the other on a Sun Odyssey 54 D S for a fun sail off Catalina Island. We had good wind, the sun was shinning and we all took pictures and video clips of each other. A great day with good friends.

Our hosts organized a Hummer tour of the Island. We saw some of the buffalo that roam freely around parts of the island. The views from the top of the hills are spectacular. We saw Catalina at its best with untouched landscapes preserved for everyone to enjoy.

The Jeanneau rendezvous is organized by H & S Yacht Sales and is held every year at Two Harbors on Catalina Island. It's a great time for all of us and we love attending.
